The Toroidal Wheel Dynamics

Abstract. The dynamics of the toroidal wheel with loaded mass that rolls without slipping is studied. The reduced equations of motion for a dynamic system of dimension five, depending on three angular rates, the leaning angle and the rolling angle, are derived. The dynamic system is controlled by the tilt and throttle torque.
